Northern Air Temple The Northern Air Temple is possibly the most different air temple, compared to the others. Due to the past, the Northern Air Temple became a refugee camp, drastically changing it's appearance. Due to the use of technology, the Northern Air Temple seems to run on hot air, the old monk's homes have been torn down to make a bathhouse, but the temple has remained the same. However, over time, more houses have been built and a new sanctuary as well. |

Southern Air Temple The Southern Air Temple is located nearby to the Southern Water Tribe, high atop a mountain, much like the other air temples. Though once covered completely in snow due to the Fire Nation's attack long ago, the numerous trees and plants have since grown back. There is a beautiful and mysterious sanctuary that holds all the statues of the past Avatars. |

Eastern Air Temple Unlike the other air temples, the Eastern Air Temple is actually situated upon three different mountains. Young sky bison tend to flock here easily due to the abundance of natural fauna, such as connecting ponds, flower beds and vines growing around. |

Western Air Temple The Western Air Temple has the most bizarre design, due to the fact the temple is upside down, as if it was made for bats. It also has the most features, including fountains, the largest Pai Sho table, an all day echo chamber and a hall of statues. The temple is hidden underneath a canyon wall. |
