Within the center of the capital is the large palace domain of the Fire Lord himself, and his royal family and subjects. It is situated within the center of a volcanic crater. None are to enter without being invited, or those who hold jobs within the palace.

The Fire Nation Plaza is located at the harbor of the Fire Nation and is a popular walking place for normal citizens. Festivals and rallies are sometimes held here for the commoners.

Off shore of the Fire Nation is the crescent shaped island with it's very own temple dedicated to the past Avatar Roku. The island is said to be a dangerous area, as it is littered with flowing rivers of magma.

Much unlike the rest of the Fire Nation, Ember Island is a tropical resort filled with lush flora. Many people build their vacation homes and seaside cottages here as a getaway area.

Surrounded by the beauty of mountains, Shu Jing is one of the commoner cities within the Fire Nation. It is peaceful and perched upon a cliff, overlooking a flowing river below.

Jang Hui is a modest fishing village built upon the water. The houses are built in a boat fashion, and the roads are made of securely fastened floating logs, connecting the houseboats together, making them a community in harmony.

Said to be inescapable, the Fire Nation stores their most deadly and dangerous criminals within this tower, which happens to be surrounded by water within a steaming volcanic crater. The water is said to be boiling hot and impossible to swim across.
