A world of peace is desired.
After the plans of the Fire-Lord was put to a halt by Aang and his comrades, the world entered a state of peace that was yearned for over a hundred years. The Avatar himself now had achieved what he was destined for, and with the Fire Nation's swift takeover by Zuko, he ensured that they would not be held accountable for any disaster that happened to befall the other Nations. With both his Father and Azula sent into exile, he ensured his power and changed the government from it's bloodthirsty ways, becoming a more stable state. Aang went back to rebuild the Air Temples with the help of the other nations; and for once the many different colors and banners of the world had united in a peace that broke down the hatred they once held for each other.
Three generations later.
The Air Temples thrive with Airbenders once more, however the peace is slowly beginning to give way. Within the Earth Kingdom, a rather weak lord had been given his father throne by a fatal disease; and the boy certainly had no clue on how to rule this nation. Corruption reigned as he gave positions only to those he found favorable, or promised to make the world a better place. Military Lords slowly began to manipulate the mind of the poor King, filling his soul with an Ambition that once settled in the previous Fire-Lord. However, he wouldn't make any actions as of yet. Within the Fire Nations tensions were high from a revolution that seemed to spring from no where. Death was something common, the family of Zuko doing their best to put a stop to this madness.
Yet they were no match. One by one the Zuko's legacy was killed or forced into exile, their enemy being a common Firebender with blue flames, Shu. He would later reveal himself from the family of Azula, holding hatred for his cousins and fulfilling his fore-fathers desires. He was set on conquering the Nations, and he was certain he was strong enough to fight with any Avatar that appeared. The Fire Nation once again entered an unstable state, and the Airbenders in effort to keep the peace, attempted to intervene. Despite their efforts the messengers was simply killed, or sent back home after being tortured; this giving the Earth Kingdom enough excuse to attempt a military invasion.
Once again, the world was entered into a state of despair as the Avatar prepared himself for the battle before him. Fire burned, and the earth ruptured in dissatisfaction. Two Nation's ambition driven by different goals. It seems, that even destiny had intertwined the populace's fates once again in the hands of overlords.
