Deshi immediately fell silent upon Shu's command, though he still mentally wondered what he had just gotten himself into by tailing after this abusive firebender. He hoped his Mother would appear out of nowhere and save him from this torture, though Deshi could not see her within the area in the least. She was probably playing games with his younger sister.
When Shu stopped, Deshi halted as well, lifting his chin from the ground to gaze up at the teen. He watched as Shu seemed to inspect a blade, but soon it was tossed to Deshi, causing the boy to panic as he hoped it didn't stab him in the face or cut his arm. In his haste Deshi clumsily caught it, avoiding injury surprisingly. "Wh-wha?" Deshi asked out loud, looking over the dagger as well. What sort of question was that?
"I.. I don't know.. Rust causes sickness.. so..." the Earth Kingdom boy stammered.

"So?" The boy said with a frown upon his face. Eyes turned sharply at him, and the dagger was snatched back rather forcefully. "Idiot." He muttered, putting the dagger back on the table and walking away from it. Obviously, he was not entertained at all. He would move towards a bench unoccupied, and sat down as his eyes shifted to the performing acts. Lips parted, then closed; unable to figure out what to say. However, he gathered his words as he shifted his attention to the boy.
"What's your name, Kaseifu?"

Deshi would have been taken aback by the "idiot" comment usually, but this time he was just too confused to be bothered by it. The dagger was snatched from his possession and given back to the dealer, and Deshi watched as Shu walked over to a vacant bench. Almost in a puppy-like fashion, Deshi followed after the soldier.
Once he came upon the bench, he didn't dare sit, instead he stood in front of Shu, staring. "My n-name's Deshi," he replied.

"Deshi? What an odd name."
He would state rather cruelly, only to pat the seat next to him on the bench. With an Imperial air about him, he would begin with eloquence in his speech, and direct it to the boy himself. "So, can you even bend? Or do you wish to live as a simply house maid to your haughty king? Seems about the only thing you obedient dogs know how to do."

His eyebrows lowered in a bit of emotional pain upon hearing that Shu thought his name was odd. "It's.. not.. really.." Deshi murmured, but his voice was so inaudible that Shu probably didn't hear him, or at least understand him. Upon Shu's gesture for the Earth Kingdom boy to take a seat, Deshi hesitantly rested his small body beside the other teen, Deshi gazing down at his knees awkwardly.
He didn't look up, either, when Shu attacked him with more questions. "I.. I can bend," he replied softly.

"Hmph."
An indignant sound escaped his throat, as he leisurely leaned back with a slight frown. Eyes closed, and his words would come out ordering as usual, directed at his new servant. "Entertain me. Make a conversation. Drop the shyness." He said softly, yawning a bit tiredly.

Concerning the command of "entertain me," the flesh upon Deshi's face began to slowly increase in heat, causing the color to flare up as a pale pink. Apparently his mind had taken it the wrong way, though he quickly corrected himself by shaking his head. "Wh-what do you want me to do?" the boy asked, his tone embarrassed. "I-I mean 'say'. Wh-what do you want me to say?"
It was obvious that he was flustered now and uncomfortable, but he was still trying to look at Shu's face in the most calm way Deshi could muster.

He sat up abruptly from his slouch, eyes shifted to stare rather roughly in a confused manner at the boy; hands upon his knee's. A frown crossed his features, his left brow raising from behind strands of charcoal hair. "... You house-maid pervert." He would insult, turning to gaze away swiftly as his mind processed what was just said. A red tint, of course, had also aligned his cheek's; but satisfaction would not be given to the young Earth Bender.
"You probably daydream all day, don't you!"

"Wh-what!? No!" Deshi insisted, attempting to wipe away Shu's assumptions about Deshi's daydreaming. "N-Not about things like... that..." Of course, by this time, his skin had heated to a bright ruby color, and any try at concealing the blush would no doubt fail. Wanting to get Shu's attention to try and apologize, Deshi gently put his hand to Shu's knee and lightly tugged on the clothing, a frown beginning to pull his lips down slightly.
"I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to.."

He would continue to hide from the boy, only feeling more insulted as the seduction from the boy would fail. Or atleast he claimed it to be seduction. He rose swiftly, and in swift strides walked forward at a generous speed; enough to attempt to gain distance between the two. He wasn't at all going to get soft, his reputation was at stake. And on top of that; how would he make the boy into a proper servant if he could cause Shu such stress?
Difficult.

As soon as the boy stood, Deshi took his hand away from Shu, watching silently as he began to swiftly take his leave. Hastily Deshi would crawl off the bench and begin to follow after his new-found 'master,' though soon he realized that this attempt at patching up the mistake he made would be most likely impossible, and worthless.
Thus after a few steps, the earthbender stopped, heaving a small sigh as he turned away from Shu and headed back towards the bench they were both seated upon a few moments ago. He perched himself sideways upon it, his back against one of the arm rests, and his knees bent to press his legs to his chest. "This is why I shouldn't talk to people," Deshi mumbled to himself, resting his chin upon the peak of his knees.
